"Pigeon conference" in my balcony... a frequent sight! Doesn't last long though. These creatures are very possessive about their "space". Violent fights break out if another pigeon happens to "park" on a spot reserved by some pigeon.

We have the same scenes too... how much I hate them and the mess they create!
Hehehe! You forgot the amount of racket they make! And if, by chance, you leave the balcony door open, they'll wander in and then get stuck between the window panes and the curtains, flapping their wings and shitting all over the window sill, while you try to guide them back to the open door through which they came in! Mental... that's what these creatures are!

Btw, some bird of prey attacked and ate a pigeon last night apparently. We saw some pigeon remains in the balcony opposite Dad's balcony.
There is a large hospital for birds in Old Delhi that treats thousands of these feathered fools but it will not take in a bird of prey, even if, say, an eagle is starving, bleeding on the ground and perfectly curable. I find that stupid. Who are they to judge? Sort of like, "I can eat a fish, I can butcher a lamb, but a cow? Hawww. Shut up..Buffalo is fine though, it's not holy" :P
Hahhh! So what else is new? We Indians are judgmental regarding everything! Against inter-caste marriages, against female babies, against females wearing western clothes, the list goes on and on. So why can't our vets be judgmental against birds of prey? And why can't I be judgmental against smokers? India may have had a glorious past, but today, it is a mentally sick place!
Hey, I was just as awesome when I was a smoker as I am now. In fact by your judgement, I'm awesomer because I've quit. Bake me a cake na. You selfish hypocrite :D
