Follow-Up
In December 2011, I published a post here about Conflict Resolution. There were 2 visible roads ahead... one shown by the heart and the other advised by the mind. After much head-scratching, I had decided to just create my own third path, instead of going either with the heart or the mind.
I've finally implemented the choice that was taken months ago. This is it...
This is the layout of the society where I've just purchased a flat, jointly with Dad. We pooled in ALL of Dad's savings, part of my PPF, and ALL of my "wedding fund" too!
It's really funny! In India, people (especially Marwaris) will save lakhs of rupees, just for their daughter's wedding! Well, I have spent it all now. No "wedding fund"... so no wedding! But I DO own half of a 2-BHK flat in Jaipur! LOL! :)

BRILLIANT. Which part is yours? When is the grihapuja?
LOL! Mine is one tiny flat in the three orange-colored 12-storeyed buildings at the extreme bottom right corner of the layout (the blocks running parallel to the right boundary wall of the society). And grihapuja mein to abhi bahut time hai! Abhi to foundation pad rahi hai in blocks ki! :p
It says your pad will be right opposite the water feature too..
Correction. Its grihapravesh not grihapuja.

What have u been doing, posting so many comments at such ungodly hours in the night? Did u get an internet connection at home finally?
