Your dream wedding.
Ahhhh. Finally one boring post on this blog. Sorry to disappoint you all, but I don't have any dream wedding. (Well, after my recent post on the "Big Fat Indian Wedding", surely this shouldn't come as a major surprise!)
For me, marriage is a sacred promise between two people. (Yes... I'm the old-fashioned kind of person, who really believes in the "matrimonial vows"... even in today's times of increasing promiscuity, extra-marital affairs, and divorces.) It's a very personal thing to me... almost as personal as religion or sex.
I may give reasons of monetary wastage and stuff, but the truth is, even if I were offered a FREE grand wedding by a genie, I'd still prefer a simple court marriage, followed by a relatively small dinner for just the immediate family.
Weird, right? I know. That's why I call myself an "alien". And I continue to live on the hope that perhaps there is "some alien... some where... made for me..."!
