Musical Quiz

I've been listening to my fast English music album for the past 2 hours... on my walkman, of course... and dancing like I was the winner of Dance-India-Dance! Been singing along too occasionally, obviously at the top of my voice! Legs are about to give up now though, they're not accustomed to being used that much in that fashion. And Dad has been absolutely fantastic all this while! He hasn't asked me to shut up even once! I know, isn't that just awesome! At times I wonder it must be quite difficult being a single Dad for a girl like me! Thankfully though, my sister is slightly tamer, but mind you... only very slightly!

Anyway, we’ll discuss the eccentricities of the “Singhania girls” (as in “the Gilmore girls”!) some other time. Right now, I have a small musical quiz for you all. I’m going to list part of the lyrics of 10 random songs from my playlist, and then let’s see how many of you manage to get them all. Try not to cheat though… there’s no fun in that. Besides, there isn’t going to be any grand prize of 50K for the winner, you know! [wink] Ok so let’s begin then…

Right, so there you go now. Some of them are really easy, but a few are a bit tricky. I’ll give you a hint -- all of these songs are at least a decade old, if not more! What are such old songs doing in my playlist? Hey, music is music pal… be it today’s or tomorrow’s or yesteryears’! Enjoy figuring this one out! Good night!
